AMT RIBBON
The new AMT-1 ribbon tweeter is now being used for the first time in the PIEGA TMicro Series. This system, based on the air motion transformer principle, largely combines the benefits of ribbon technology with the economical manufacture of a dome tweeter. An extremely light 24 x 36 mm folded membrane and a powerful magnet driver made from pure neodymium provide an airy and detailed sound with outstanding authenticity and minimum distortion.
DESIGN
The loudspeakers of the TMicro Series come in an exceptionally slimline aluminium cabinet. These are available in silver or anodized black as well as in a white lacquer finish, and also feature a both elegant and exceptionally stable C profile. Thanks to their rounded shape towards the baffle and to the rear, the cabinets have no right angles so that no internal waves can develop. In this way, a powerful, tight and deep bass reproduction is ensured in spite of its compact dimensions. With the baffle now directly integrated in the cabinet, these new TMicro models offer a particular elegance.
